About us
Chobham Friends is the name of the parent-teacher association for Chobham Primary. We are run by parent volunteers who are driven by the shared belief that “It takes a village to raise a child.”
Chobham Friends aims to build friendships across the school, engage with the local community and – importantly - support the school by raising money for additional facilities and provisions that do not come from government funding. The relationships between our pupils, teachers, current and former parents/carers are essential to ensuring Chobham Primary continues to offer an exceptional education.
State schools have faced increasing funding challenges and we need the help of our community now more than ever. There are many ways in which you can support Chobham Friends from attending an event, making a donation to the school's fund, to giving while you shop. Whatever you can do, your support will have a real and direct impact on our pupils and their education.
If you would like to support us, you will find information on how you can do so on these pages of the website. If you have any queries or would like any further information on supporting Chobham Primary, please contact us: chobhamfriends@gmail.com.
We are currently raising funds to support increased specialist teaching, a greener school environment, and extra-curricular club provision for every child. We want every pupil to have the opportunity for enrichment beyond the national curriculum.
Getting Involved with Chobham Friends
Every Chobham parent/carer is automatically a member of the PTA - everyone is welcome! We also welcome family, friends and other community stakeholders who want to support us.
We would love to hear from you if you would like to be part of the PTA committee, support or run an event, volunteer a service, be part of a sub-committee or event group or receive any communications. If this is you, please email us: chobhamfriends@gmail.com.
