In this week's lesson, we will be answering the question ‘what is soil made from?’ To this end, you will look at different types of soil and identify similarities and differences between them. Soil samples will include chalk, sandy, clay and loam. Once you have watched the recorded video and engaged with the teaching slides, complete a very exciting activity on Purple Mash where you have the opportunity to create a leaflet about the six different types of soil. This week, we continue our focus on ‘Online Safety’. In today’s lesson, we will be addressing the issue of ‘Cyberbullying’. You will learn what cyberbullying is and how it is different from other forms of bullying. You will also learn how to recognise and respond to this form of bullying. Finally, you become aware of the importance of being upstander and not bystander; that is to speak up when you see or hear about someone been bullied and do your best to help, protect and support the person. Once you have watched the video and engaged with the teaching slides, please complete a short quiz on Purple Mash to test your knowledge of cyberbullying and its harmful consequences. Enjoy!
