Hello Year 3! Today, we will be learning how to solve subtraction calculations making the previous hundred. Can you find the easiest way so you will be able to make the previous hundred? After you are watching the video, please complete your PM activity.
3rd March - Y3 Computing: Using 'more than', 'less than' and 'equals' tools to compare different numbers
In this week’s computing lesson, you will be using 'more than', 'less than' and 'equals' tools to compare different numbers. Not only will you have the opportunity to compare numbers on a given number line, but you will also be challenged to make your own number line and compare different numbers including negative numbers and decimals! Make sure you use the 2Do entitled: '2Do: Lesson 2 - Using 'more than', 'less than' and 'equals' tools to compare different numbers' for your main task. Enjoy!
4th March Y3 Literacy - letter from Sailor to Matt
Watch this video to learn how to write a letter in response to Matt's letter. Remember to follow x, l and y letter height rules, and to focus on capital letters for the start of sentences and for proper nouns. This is your last chance to practice key writing skills before school next week, so make the most of this opportunity to practice your writing. Have fun with it! And we hope you are having a lovely World Book Day.
5th March - Y3 PSHE
Today, we will be discussing positive and negative feelings and how people show and react to them. We will be looking a range of pictures trying to guess what feelings are displayed each time. We are also going to explain what both facial expression and body language tell us about someone's emotions. Can you guess how people might feel by only looking at them? After you watch the video, please complete your PM activity. Enjoy!
