1st March - Y3 Maths: Adding multiples of 10
In today's maths lesson, you will be adding multiples of 10 to 2-digit numbers and 3-digit numbers that are multiples of 10 using the hundred frames and partitioning the second addend. Once you have watched the recorded lesson and interacted with the teaching slides, complete a maths task set on Purple Mash to test your understanding of today's lesson. Enjoy!

Our main job is first to partition our subtrahend - in a specific way- and then to solve our calculation. How are you going to partition today? Not only will you have the opportunity to compare numbers on a given number line, but you will also be challenged to make your own number line and compare different numbers including negative numbers and decimals! 4th March Y3 Literacy - letter from Sailor to Matt
